Primary, secondary chess up

MANILA, Philippines - The 2012 National Primary and Secondary Chess Championships gets underway on Nov.  27-Dec. 2 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Cultural Complex in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

A joint project of the Department of Education and the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP),  the tournament is open to all public and private elementary and high schools nationwide.

The event will be hosted by the provincial government of Pangasinan, headed by Governor Amado Espino Jr.
