MANILA, Philippines - Hogs Breath trounced PL iTrade, 73-64, to notch its third straight victory in Group B while Steel Trust Corp. stunned ACS Team, 94-76, in the second DELeague Open Invitational Basketball Cup at the Marikina Sports Park Gym in Marikina City Thursday night.
Floyd Dedicatoria scored 18 points and hauled down nine rebounds while Ryon Delos Trinos added 12 markers for the unbeaten Hogs Breath.
Mark Jeffries shot 24 points and snared seven rebounds while Alinko Mbah pulled down 13 rebounds for PL iTrade, which dropped to 2-2.
Meanwhile, action in the event, organized by Marikina Mayor Del De Guzman and backed by OLOPS College, Jekasa Sportswear, Hobe Bihon, Mckie’s Video, Simply Delicious, and LUYONG Panciteria, resumes tonight with Hogs Breath clashing with Arquitectos Construction at 7 p.m. and Globe Telecoms battling Sta. Lucia East at 8:30 p.m.
