ACCI Corp Cup slated

MANILA, Philippines - The Architectural Centre Club, Inc. (ACCI) holds the fourth Corporate Cup golf tournament on Nov. 26 with the country’s top golfing architects, engineers, contractors and land developers seeing action at Sta. Elena Golf Club in Laguna.

With a huge field expected, the organizing ACCI has set a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. with play to be held under the Stableford scoring format.

The 18-hole tournament, held to foster camaraderie and friendship among players from the construction industry and allied trades, is backed by mega sponsors Datem, Inc., DDDT Konstract, Inc., F.R. Sevilla Industrial and Development Corp. and Trane Philippines, Inc.

First held in 2009 through ACCI Golf Club’s Felizardo Sevilla Jr. as chairman, Ric Dela Rosa of GF & Architects, Inc., Luis Pastor of D.M. Consunji, Inc., Reynaldo Calpo of R.J. Calpo & Company and Jack Perez, the Corporate Cup has grown in prestige and stature the last three years with the club’s present set of officers vowing a banner staging this year.

The event, sponsored by Alpa Plumbing Works, Inc., Borja Construction Coordinates and Allied Services, Corrotech Inc., Euroasia Marble and Granite, Excel Contractor and Developers, Integrated Contractor and Plumbing Works, OSP Advantage System Corp., New Bac Cooline Systems and Equipment Sales, RVAB Konstruct Inc., Loxon Phils., Net Pacific and Roof and Wall Saver, is also held in line with the anniversary celebrations of the ACCI.

Other backers are Air Filters Phils., Kalayaan Engineering Company, Union Galvasteel Corp. and Sop Steel Sales Center.
