TriUnited Series to conclude in Ayala Alabang

MANILA, Philippines - The Unilab Active Health’s TriUnited 3, the biggest, single-day sprint triathlon in the country,  unfolds Nov.  11 at Narra Park inside the  Ayala Alabang Village in Muntinlupa.

More than 500 participants have registered for the concluding event of the 2012 TriUnited series event organized by Bikeking led by Raul Cuevas in cooperation with Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP) and the Ayala Alabang Village Association (AAVA).

Mini-sprint participants set out in waves at 6 a.m. (male 13-15), 6:03 a.m. (male 16-above), 6:06 a.m. (second batch male 16-above), 6:09 a.m. (female 13-15), 6:12 a.m. (female 16-above). Sprint distance participants start at 6:15 a.m. beginning with the female 18-24 and 25-29 categories. 

At 6:30 a.m., female participants aged 30 and above begin racing. Male participants will have their respective races start in different waves in 15-minute intervals set between 7 and 9 a.m.

Triathletes in the sprints will  swim 900 meters at the De La Salle Zobel pool followed by the 30.3K bike and 7.1K run around the village. The mini-sprint distance (300M swim - 7.6K bike - 1.7 K run) will utilize the same course but will run on another section of the village close to Narra Park.

At stake in the event are medals and gift packs for the top 3 male and female finishers of the Elite, age-groups, mini-sprint youth and mini-sprint adult categories.
