Travel run today at Kampo Trexo
MANILA, Philippines - More than 100 travel agents from across the country will take part in the first Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) mini Olympics which gets going today at Kampo Trexo in Cavite.
PTAA president Aileen Clemente said the one-day event is aimed at fostering camaraderie and providing travel agencies nationwide an activity that takes them away from their normal daily routines.
“We want every one of them to bond together while at the same time roughing it out. Looking at the response we have from our members, this can be expected to become an annual event of the association,” said Clemente.
Events on tap are the over-under relay, sync walk, ring rope and tug-o-war along with obstacle course, Kampo Trexo race and an adventure tower.
The PTAA is the biggest grouping of travel and tourism companies in the country with over 500 members nationwide.
