MANILA, Philippines - Toyota Motor Philippines, through TMP president Mich Sugata, will stake an Altis as a hole-in-one prize in the Gov. Penny Policarpio Golf Classic at Valley on Monday, Jake Ayson announced.
The 1.6-liter best-selling model of Toyota will be up grabs on No. 18 of the Valley South Course in Antipolo City in the event hosted by Rotary Tandang Sora Q.C., headed by Gov. Penny Policarpio and the peace presidents.
“The tournament’s proceeds will benefit the urban poor in some parts of Quezon City,” said Ayson, a past president of Rotary Tandang Sora under RI District 3780 headed by Gov. Policarpio.
The 18-hole, stroke play, using the modified Callaway system, will have competitions in Divisions A, B, C and D and ladies category.
Tickets are at P2,500 each, except for Valley members who will only pay P1,000. Everybody is qualified, however, for raffle prizes in the tournament sponsored and supported by RC Quezon City, Premium Ready Mix, Hercor Builders, VCS Extreme, Rowell Group, Morris Agoncillo, Herman Go, MB Tech, WWW Express, Robros Electrical, Cef Piamonte, RC Kamuning West, RC Murphy, Mayor Herbert Bautista, Syn Cruiser, One Stop Exhibition, Rey David, Rey Daquigan, Lemon Grass Tea, Niel Toledo, Arvie Magpayo and Benny Alcantara (C-Lium).
Deadline of registration is on Oct. 28, 5 p.m. Shotgun start is at 8 a.m.
