Young karter featured in TV auto show

MANILA, Philippines - TurboZone, an automotive television show on GMA 7, will feature 12-year-old multi-awarded karter Gabriel Tayao Cabrera in a special segment this Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m.

With Ferrari Philippines as venue, Cabrera will not only show his fascination for Ferrari cars but will also share racing experiences and his plans to achieve his Formula 1 dream.

Cabrera was last year’s Asian Karting Open Championships Round 3 overall Formula Cadet class champion and overall Cadet Novice runner-up in the Petron Super Karting Series. 

Powered by Seaoil and DC Philippines, Cabrera, nephew of multi-awarded drifter and pro golfer Kevin Tayao, is likewise the 2012 SQ International Cup Cadet Novice champion and overall MiniROK class runner-up in this year’s Coca-Cola Karting Series. 

He is currently among the top five contenders for the Mini-ROK crown in the Asian Karting Open Series Championships.
