NCA derby at Ynares tonite

MANILA, Philippines -  The National Cockers Alliance kicks off its circuit tonight with an all-star cast vying for top honors at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Bong Pineda, James Uy, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Ferdie Eusebio, Jun Mendoza, Johnny Jalandoni and Mayor Alonte will be fielding their best entries against those of the regular NCA members, guaranteeing an action-packed battle for supremacy.

The event is hosted by Gov. Ito Ynares, Rene Medina, Ernesto Austria, Hessie Mallillin, the Firefly Group, Ralph Daigo and Bebot Uy.

Only entries inspected and banded by the NGBA, GF, MIGBA, SGBA, BBC, PAGBA, RGBA, CVBA and LGBA will be allowed to fight.

Before they are banded, they have to pass through inspection by Johnny Jalandoni and an NCA representative to make sure that only legitimate stags are entered in the event.

Meanwhile, the second leg will be held Sept. 18 to be hosted by top cockers Manny and Arman Santos, Eric dela Rosa, Butchoy Olano and JR Tolentino.
