Garcia dominates sprint race at Circuit Showdown

MANILA, Philippines - Niño Garcia dominated the seven-lap sprint race in the seventh leg of GT Radial Circuit Showdown, the largest motorsports event in the Philippines, recently at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas.

Garcia won in Grid A race, followed by Paolo Mantolino and Rafael La ‘O.

Runaway champion Alan Arguelles led Dax Santiano and Patrick Mendoza in Grid B while Edwin Rodriguez, Marcus Timbol and Eduardo Suiza took the top 3 spots in Grid C. 

La ‘O also took Bracket A in the Open category with a three-second margin over Joby Tanseco and Garcia.

Bracket B went to Edward dela Rosa, Toby Santiago and Jun Cruz, respectively, while Mark Castro topped bracket C, followed by Trek Mendoza and Alan Arguelles.

 Other bracket winners were JP Pacres, Edward Pujol and Eugene Uyboco in bracket D, Lester Shih, Ian Faraon and Luigi Cupino in bracket E, and Leo Candava, Fritz Balmes and Dondi Sy in bracket F. 

The race drew almost 80 entrants in the time trial and over 1,000 in the grid race.

The Circuit Showdown, supported by GT Radial, HKS SuperOil, Rota Wheels, V-KOOL, Staging Lanes, Egghead @ Robinsons Galleria, Top Gear Phil., ACCS, Runstop Rotors, PhilGerma, Foil A Car, ECW Performance, and Kotse.com., has become a household name in motorsports where drivers from all backgrounds battle it out in fun and clean racing environment.
