Listup ongoing for 7th Nicklaus invitational

MANILA, Philippines - Registration for the annual Jack Nicklaus International Invitational is ongoing with this year’s tournament expected to draw a banner field as the winning two-man team will represent the country in the Jack Nicklaus tournament and the site of the PGA Tours annual Memorial Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.

The pre-qualifying tournament is set on Sept. 14 at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite where 50 of the best players will advance to the finals tournament set Nov. 21 at the Sta. Elena Golf Club.

Apart from the privilege of representing the country, the winning team will also get exclusive entry to the PGA Memorial Tournament.

Other prizes at stake include roundtrip airfare to Columbus, Ohio and deluxe accommodation for five nights.

Each player will also receive four rounds of world-class golf as well as personal gifts and mementos for his participation in the International Finals.

A 10 percent discount on registration fee will also be given exclusively to Globe Platinum subscribers.
