Phl trainers top HK bodybuilding

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino fitness trainers Jerome Miranda and Jayzel Manaois bagged the gold and bronze medals, respectively, in the HKFBF International Bodybuilding and Fitness Invitational Championship in Kowloon, Hong Kong recently.

Miranda topped the men’s 65kg and below category while Manaois placed third in the 80kg and below division as the Filipino fitness trainers underscored the country’s lofty place on the Asian bodybuilding stage.

Miranda and Manaois have been competing in various bodybuilding and fitness competitions abroad with the duo emerging as two Filipino winners from among the 15-man Phl field, which vied in the event.

They said determination and discipline were the keys to their Hong Kong feat.
