The Patriots Clifford Castro fired 23 points, including six triples in the first quarter, as the Patriots led from start to finish to blast the Stallions in the league backed by Mikasa and Molten Balls.
Jeoffrey Acain scored 17 points while Roy Rivera added 14 markers for the Patriots, who earlier bowed to the Olivarez College Sea Lions, 51-60.
Windell Bumanglag matched Castro’s 23-point output as the top MLQU gunner was held to just one basket in the last period.
The Stallions also dropped to 1-1.

The Stallions earlier trounced the Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite Vanguards, 76-68, with Bumanglag topscoring for 31 points.
The Patriots will seek their second win in three games when they take on the Philippine School of Business Administration Jaguars on Thursday at the Ugnayang La Salle gymnasium in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
