Three teams share Sandugo cage lead

Manila, Philippines -  Informatics-A posted back-to-back wins over Emilio Aguinaldo College, 97-79, and University of Asia and the Pacific, 102-65, to force a three-way tie for the lead in the Sandugo-Collegiate Athletic League.

Host Trinity University of Asia followed up its opening day win with a 93-54 rout of Informatics-B while College of St. Benilde also dominated Informatics-B, 83-60, then turned back EAC, 85-75, to join Informatics-A in the lead in the early going of the league.

Colegio de San Lorenzo totes a 1-0 card while newcomer Don Bosco Technical College bowed to TUA in the opener of the developmental league sponsored by PC-Gilmore, Philippine Sports commissioner Akiko Guevarra and Phiten and backed by Gatorade, Uratex and Primovit Multi-vitamins.

In the five-team women’s side, Adamson U and De La Salle University-Dasmarinas remained on course for a title clash as they lead the field with similar 2-0 slates.

The Lady Falcons pulled off a come-from-behind 70-62 win over the UST Tigresses while DLSU-D topped CSB, 55-50.

UST, meanwhile, bounced back from back-to-back setbacks with a 70-33 romp over DBTC.
