MANILA, Philippines - The Sandugo-Collegiate Athletic League (CAL), formerly the Collegiate Development League kicks off its new season on July 27 at the Trinity University of Asia gym in QC with a total of 13 teams vying for top honors.

The league, sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), also features the women’s division with Lyceum of the Philippines University as defending champion.
National University is the reigning titlist in the men’s side.
This season, Adamson and UST are joining with their Team Bs in the women’s category along with St. Benilde, Don Bosco-Mandaluyong, and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
In the men’s class, St. Benilde heads the returning teams that include Colegio De San Lorenzo, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Trinity University of Asia and Informatics.
