Javier, Nuñez top ABC quarterly

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of Steeltech waxed hot with an eight-game series of 1712 to capture the Group I crown while Totie Nuñez of HCG Phils. took the Group 2 plum with a 1394 in the Architects Bowling Club’s quarterly championship at E Lanes in Ortigas, Greenhills last week.

Jimmy Ocampo of Duraflex TW Wires scored 1641, Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables had 1628 and Boyet Libiran of American Cables made 1627 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Edwin Laguitan of ABC Phils. rolled 1380, Greg Mare of Concrete Ventures turned in a 1371 and Michael Domingo of Duraflex THHN Wires had 1362 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The event, backed by Atlanta Pipes, Philflex Cables, Crown Pipes Supreme, Emerald Pipes, JS Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Firefly-Royu, Boysen Virtuoso/Knoxout/Healthy Homes/Acrytex, Duraflex THW Wires, Colorsteel, Nation Paints and La Vida Verde, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of fun games to be followed by the second quarterly awards, also at E Lanes.
