TRS kids resume bid in national karting series

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Castrol-Tuason Racing School (TRS) kids team resumes its title drive in various divisions as the National Karting Series returns to its home at the Carmona Racetrack in Cavite this Sunday.

Flynn Jackes goes all out to regain the overall lead in the Mini-ROK class after going scoreless in the final race of the Boomland leg that dropped him to second overall with 180 points, 51 points behind the leader.

AT Tuason and Wils Casequin also vow to dish out their best form in a bid to get back into the title hunt in the Formula Cadet Expert division. Tuason remains third overall with 130 points while Casequin has 113 points after three legs.

TRS president JP Tuason expects the troika, backed by Castrol, Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, C! Magazine, OMP, Coke Zero, Oakley, Aguila and Toptul, to put up a better show with only four legs left in the series.

“We’re hoping that they get the breaks this time after what we’ve been through in the past three legs,” said Tuason.
