FVR leads big cast in Senior Care golf

MANILA, Philippines - Former President Fidel V. Ramos will lead a big field in the Senior Care Fellowship golf tournament today at the Alabang Country Club course in Muntinlupa. Tee off time is 6 a.m.

Joining FVR in the 18-hole tourney presented by the Federation of Golf Clubs Phils., Inc. are FGCPI officials led by its president Rogelio Manalo and secretary-general Popoy Flores. Several presidents of FGCP member clubs are also expected to play.

There will be six different categories, including the Classic for players 55 to 59 years old, Elite for 60 to 64, Statesmen for 65 to 69, Vintage for 70 to 74, Super Seniors for 75 and above and the Executive Group which is exclusive for the chairman and president of FGCPI member golf clubs.

Trophies will be awarded to the overall low net and the top three finishers in each of the six divisions on top of the numerous raffle prizes to be given away.

The Senior Care is one of the major events in the Federation calendar with the other two catering to the men and women club regulars – the Men’s Federation League and the Ladies Federation League.
