NU, Lyceum cop crowns

MANILA, Philippines - National University and Lyceum of the Philippines University posted contrasting victories to rule their respective divisions in the 2012 Sandugo-Collegiate (Basketball) Development League summer conference at the Trinity University of Asia gym in QC last weekend.

The Bulldogs, behind Cameroonian Alfred Aroga, JJ Alejandro and Mark Porter, beat the Informatics Icons, 87-64, to capture the men’s crown while the Lady Pirates battled back from 20 points down to repulse Far Eastern U, 53-50, and bag the women’s diadem.
