Brooks Happy Run 2 slated
MANILA, Philippines - Surprise events will spice up the Brooks Happy Run 2 on June 3 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, with organizer Without Limits + Pro Active pulling out all the stops to ensure the race will create its own niche.
Brooks ambassador Jennylyn Mercado, along with other GMA talents, will grace the event whose proceeds will go to The Foundation for the Philippine Environment, a non-government organization that helps protect and conserve the environment.
Co-presented by RUNNR, Toby’s Sports, St. Luke’s Medical Center and 100 Plus, the event features races in the 21K, 12K and 6K distances, with cash prizes up for grabs.
Registration is going on at selected RUNNR outlets in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig, Trinoma Mall, Quezon City and New Wing, Alabang Town Center and at Toby’s Sports outlets at Shangri-La Plaza, SM Mall of Asia, SM North The Block and Glorietta 4.
Entry fees are P750 (21K), P650 (12K) and P500 (6K).
Upon registration, runners will receive race kits containing Brooks limited edition singlets, race bibs, race maps, and Gu gel.
“We invite all running enthusiasts to join the event. There will be fun interactive booths for the family to enjoy such as photo booth, inflatables, sports games and a whole lot more,” said Rodolfo Claudio, president and general manager of Sports Resources, Inc. “Definitely, our Happy Run 2 will be happier the second time around.”
