Castrol-TRS braces for karting series leg

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Castrol-Tuason Racing School kids team gears up for another tough outing when the third leg of the National Karting Series is fired off at the Boomland Kart Track of the CCP Complex in Pasay City.

Flynn Jackes will lead the TRS team’s title drive along with Wils Casequin and AT Tuason and Toptul. Jackes is tipped to slug it out with Gabriel Cabrera in the Mini ROK division.

Jackes wrested the solo lead with 132 points following an impressive victory at the Batangas Racing Circuit although Cabrera is just a point behind at 131.

Casequin, meanwhile, tries to improve on his third place finish in the Formula Cadet Expert class for a two-leg total of 75 points.

Tuason, who ended up fourth in the last leg, remains in third overall in the Formula Cadet Expert class with 82 points.

The three are members of the pioneer batch of young karters who excelled in the Castrol Champions of the Future program launched last year with the troika, powered by Castrol, Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, C! Magazine, OMP, Coke Zero, Oakley, Aguila, proving their worth in the national karting circuit.

“After showing their worth in Batangas, I’m confident that our young wards will further develop that winners instinct in the coming races,” said TRS president JP Tuason.
