Seaoil elite league Final 4 under way

MANILA, Philippines - Ateneo squares off with La Salle-Greenhills while AMA Computer University clashes with Chang Kai Shek in the Final Four of the Seaoil-NBTC Jr Elite Basketball League at Xavier gym today.

The Blue Eaglets and the Junior Archers tangle at 1 p.m. while the CKSC cagers slug it out with the AMACU side at 2:45 p.m. with the winners advancing to the best-of-three championship series.

Ateneo trounced Lourdes School-QC, 52-42, while La Salle-Greenhills outlasted San Beda, 55-50, in the Elite eight of the event organized by the National Basketball Training Center and presented by Seaoil Philippines.

Molten is the official ball of this 12-under tournament sponsored by San Miguel Corp., Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs, Star Margarine and Magnolia Spinner.

Chang Kai Shek and Ama Computer likewise struggled past their respective rivals to advance with the former needing an extra five minutes before outlasting San Sebastian College, 64-56.

AMA Computer survived a gutsy De La Salle-Zobel five, 62-56.
