World Slasher 8-cock resumes

MANILA, Philippines - Action in the World Slasher Cup-2 8-Cock Invitational Derby heats up today with Group B competitors battling it out in separate two-cock semis at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Riding the crest of his six-of-six performance in last Tuesday’s Group B elims, Mayor Jose Panganiban hopes to sustain his entries’ charge behind Oxford Princess Casino 7-Stag Sept. 30, Ang NICP Party List and NICP Action Na, which posted two points apiece.

Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, the six-day derby is backed by Thunderbird Bexan XP and Thunderbird Romoxty.

Also out to keep its clean slates is Niño Alado, whose Jakatole MD Ana and Laba Laba Ana recorded two wins apiece, while Cockfights Magazine publisher Wilvin Sy scored two points in AHLuck San Rafael entry (with Willard & Jeric) and 1.5 points in his other bet King JLW.
