AGC golf under way

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s top golfing architects mark the Architect Golf Club’s 27th anniversary celebrations with a tournament at the Baguio Country Club today and at Camp John Hay Golf Club tomorrow.

On tap at BCC is the team competition featuring major sponsor Boysen Paints products, namely Virtuoso, Cool Shades, Knoxout and Healthy Home, with each squad’s composition to be based on handicap index with all five handicap groups evenly divided into four teams.

Flights will be composed of one player each from the four teams with the top 10 individual points of each team counting for the squad. A fellowship at Igorot Lodge followed by bingo socials will cap the day.

Also to be disputed is the two-man best score event while the AGC monthly tournament and the second qualifying round for the interschool competitions are slated on the second day.

The awards rites will be held at the BCC.
