Django tops 10-Ball in California

MANILA, Philippines - Francisco “Django” Bustamante swept the last six racks and pulled off an 8-4 victory over Raj Hundal of India to capture the 2012 West Coast Challenge 10-Ball crown, his second in two weeks, at the  California Billiard Club in Mountain View, California.

Bustamante won $5,200 to raise his total money earnings of $8,200 following his victory over John Schmidt of the US, 4-2, last April 25.

Meanwhile, 2008 world junior silver medalist Jericho Banares of Antipolo upset Lee Vann Corteza, 11-7, to rule the 2012 Star Billiards 10-Ball Cup at the Star Billiards Center in Quezon City. Banares took home P100,000.
