In This Corner today on '4'

MANILA, Philippines - Bacolod pride Jerry Nardo takes tonight’s spotlight in Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over PTV-4.

The 20-year-old Nardo, born in Danao City, Cebu, but now based in the “City of Smiles”, squares off with Nikong Calamba in the 7-8 p.m. primetime boxing show presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and Petron.

The fight is set for eight rounds in the featherweight division.

For primer, previous bouts of both Nardo and Calamba will be shown.

The two tangled in Reverend Henry Guanzon’s boxing promotion dubbed “Fearless Blows”, held at the Pagcor Amphitheater in Bacolod.
