MANILA, Philippines - Judge Banny Vargas of the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City ruled the GT 130 class in the recently concluded inaugural leg at Batangas Racing Circuit.
Mayor Dondon Portugal of Taysan, Batangas, was hounded by engine problems in the premier GT Race after winning earlier in the sprint race.
Judge Vargas had to settle for second place in the sprint. Another entry, Jojo Lavina of Tuason Racing, found himself in an even worse situation as he did not make the qualifying runs after the practice sessions when his engine got busted.
