Young stars rise in national motorcycle racing

ROSARIO, Batangas, Philippines – A new breed of young ace riders – Raniel Resuello, Arlan de la Cruz and Masato Fernando – showed big promise as the next superstars of local motorcycle racing as they dominated the return of the 2012 Bridgestone Philippine Superbikes Championships, the 2012 Philippine Scooter Racing Championships and the 2012 Philippine Underbone King Championships recently at the Batangas Racing Circuit here.

The 20-year-old Resuello, parading his top-of-the-line Kawasaki Superbike, turned back even the more-experienced rivals as he ruled the 2012 Bridgestone Philippine Superbikes Championships sanctioned by Superbikes Racing Association (SBRA) with Bridgestone as the official Superbikes tires.
