Charismatic foundation holds Cardinal Sin golf tiff

MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of its ninth anniversary, the Serviam Catholic Charismatic Communication Foundation is launching the second Jaime Cardinal Sin Memorial Golf Classic May 4 at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.

The 18-hole event pays tribute to the late Jaime Cardinal Sin, whose efforts include uplifting the quality of life of the poor as well as playing a crucial role in the transformation of Philippine society.

At the same time, funds will be raised for a wide variety of programs, such as marriage and family enrichment seminars and developing servant leaders in the various mission outreach areas, in cooperation with Caritas Manila.

At stake in the event, supported by Philex Mining, Gallery Big, Standard Insurance Corporation, hole sponsors GBR Foundation Inc., Joaquin Gallery, Raoul C. Romulo, Toyota Global, Dr. Jaime Tomas and Asian Centre for Insulation Philippines (ACIPO) plus mission partners, is a specially designed Ramon Orlina trophy for the champion.

Entry is P5,000 per head covering green fee, lunch, tournament giveaways and participation in the raffle. Player registration is scheduled at 6 a.m. before the shotgun tee off at 7 a.m.
