Jimafer rules NCA derby

MANILA, Philippines - Efren Canlas’ Jimafer racked up five points to emerge the solo champion in the National Cockers Alliance derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig last week.

The RT 114 Roosterville of Ruel Ricafort and Gov. Plaza, the AS/JU/JT/AA of Allan Siaco and James Uy, and the RM Renegade of Rene Medina and Arnold Mendoza shared second place with four points apiece while the Goldquest Champions of Osang dela Cruz, the Tiffany and GCT of Teves Brothers, and the LDB and Pugo Combine of Ka Luding and Rey Soberano wound up with similar three points.

Meanwhile, the NCA holds another derby on April 17.

Tommy Chua, Dela Cruz, Ellan Nagaño, Rene Medina, Bebot Uy, Jun Topacio, James Uy, Eugene Martin and Luding Boongaling head the roster in the event hosted by Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas and Jimafer.
