Top sportsmen vie in NCA derby at Ynares
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers’ Association holds another derby today with the country’s leading breeders and cockers clashing for top honors at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, Elan Nagano, Rene Medina, Bebot Uy and Jun Topacio head the roster of NCA members in the event hosted by Mario Villamor, Henry Tan and Gov. Ito Ynares.
Also fielding in their top-notch entries are James Uy, Eugene Martin, Luding Boongaling, Manny Santos, Armand Santos, Patrick Anotnio, Gerry Ramos, The Firefly Group, Bebot Uy, Ito Ynares, Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza, Charlie Ang, Joel Teves and Danny Teves, Mario Villamor, Henry Tan, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas and Jimafer, Jun Jun Salazar, T. Sevilla, Jr. Tolentino, Eric dela Rosa, Butchoy Olano, Vic Yap, Pipo Soliman, Ruel Ricafort, Boy Valenzuela, George Torres, Claude Bautista, and Boyet Joson.
The guest list, meanwhile, is headed by Col. Katigbak, Engr. Medrano, Ricky Valencia, Ronnie Puno, Mayor Alonte, Bong Pineda, Jhun Mauricio, and Jun Velasco.
The NCA is the only gamefowl association that provides scholarships to deserving students. It currently supports two scholars in the University of the Philippines.
