AdMasters tourney set at Alabang

MANILA, Philippines - The AdMasters Golf Championship, the longest golfing event in the advertising industry, holds its seventh edition on April 16 with a big field expected to see action at the Alabang Country Club.

Organized by the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines, the tournament will have individual and industry team competitions with guest players vying for Classes A, B, C and ladies division titles and the overall championship.

The seventh AdMasters golfest is a joint project of the Ad Foundation and the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkasters sa Pilipinas in commemoration of the KBP’s 38th founding anniversary that also marked the start of industry self-regulation.

Individual industry and foundation members vill slug it out for the Morales Perpetual Championship Cup as overall champion while the individual guest players vie for the Makabayang Pilipino overall crown.

Seven industry teams, including the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies-Phils. (4 A’s), Advertising Suppliers Association of the Phils. (ASAP), Kapisanan ng mga Brodkasters sa Pilipinas (KBP), Outdoor Advertising Association of the Phils. (OAAP), United Print Media Group (UPMG) and the foundation’s Pillars, will clash for the KBP 38th anniversary championship trophy.
