In This Corner
MANILA, Philippines - Never before seen fights of the boxing promotion dubbed “Fearless Blows” will be shown starting tonight in Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over PTV-4.
Serving as the main event of the program aired from 7-8 p.m., and presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), and Petron, is the Philippine flyweight championship between Art Villanueva and Samuel Apuya.
The 12-round title bout was held at the Pagcor amphitheater in Bacolod City and promoted by Reverend Henry Guanzon.
Prior to the match, previous outings of Villanueva (against Brix Bomb Ray) and Apuya (versus Ronelle Ferreras) will also be shown.
In the preliminary fight, Joeven Hisona takes on Hermil Saguire Sr. in a 4-rounder.
