Army stamps class in seasports festival

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Army dominated the 2012 Manila Bay Seasports Festival, ruling the men’s championship while Triton topped the women’s side at the Manila Ocean Park last Sunday.

PDRT Fireblades, meanwhile, reigned in the mixed division of the event, a project of Manila Broadcasting Company and the City of Manila in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard.

Daniel Carrera of Agoo, La Union steered Shaine to the stock race championship while Jefferson Abad of Iloilo led Alkoholik to victory in the Formula races of the event backed by Smart Communications, Caltex, Sugus, Ginebra San Miguel, Cobra Energy Drink, M. Lhuillier, So Lucky Crackers, H2O Hotel, Cord Marine Epoxy and Harbor View Restaurant.
