Zubiri, Ferraris top ABC monthly bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Lito Zubiri of Duraflex Wires and Cables rolled a six-game series of 1321 to capture the Group I crown while Eugene Ferraris of Alvarez Const. scored 1094 to bag the Group 2 title in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at E Lanes in Ortigas, Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Nepthy del Rosario of DN Steel finished second with 1266, Noel del Rosario of Boysen Perlecente had 1261 for third and Bibs Luzande of Steeltech came up with 1255 for fourth in Group I in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Robert Olete of Wekonstruct carded 1068, Bert Magsakay of Concrete Ventures made 1020 and Totie Nuñez of La Vida Verde had 1018 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by August Alliance, HCG Phils., ABC Phils., Miraga, Crown PVC Pipes, Eurodach, Firefly-Royu, Philflex Wires and Cables, Unitec Pipes, Duraflex TW/THW/THHN Wires, DN Steel, Moldex Pipes, Emerald Pipes, Nation Paints, Crown Pipes Supreme and Mozzaico, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the first quarterly championship, also at E Lanes.
