NCA holds derby at Ynares Arena

MANILA, Philippines - A grand battle of champions will be held Tuesday when the National Cockers Alliance holds a blockbuster derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Hosted by Bebot Uy and the Firerfly Group, the event features the country’s leading breeders and cockers Bong Pineda, Joey and Buboy delos Santos, Henry Tan, George Araneta, Johnny Jalandoni, Bebot Roxas, JV Magsaysay and Eddie Gonzales.

They will dispute top honors with regular NCA members Charlie Ang, Gerry Ramos, Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, Ellan Nagaño, Rene Medina, Jun Topacio, James Uy, Eugene Martin, Luding Boongaling, Manny Santos, Armand Santos, Ito Ynares, Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza, Joel Teves, Danny Teves, Mario Villamor, Ramon Mancenares;Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas, Junjun Salazar, T. Sevilla, JR Tolentino, Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olaño.

Meanwhile, Ka Luding and Rey Soberano’s entry LDB Sports Arena posted five points and topped the NCA derby hosted by Gerry Ramos last Feb. 28.

CPB JGT AAO of Cong. Bautista finished second with four points while the Hummer and Tiger of Ramos, Jade 2 of Arman Santos, Boy 2 Hacienda Elvinarios of Boy Valenzuela, San Pedro Big Event of Lito Roque and Cong. Patrick Antonio’s Ricky and Minnung shared third place with four points.
