Steeltech tops ABC Sponsors Challenge

MANILA, Philippines - Lito Zubiri, Ted Victorino, Susan San Diego and Lito Santarinala of Steeltech combined for 3464 to cop the Sponsors Challenge title in the Architects Bowling Club-Boysen Open Classic tournament at E Lanes, Ortigas Ave. in Greenhills last Saturday.

The Boysen Paints team of Jerry Cham, Ronnie Javier, Denis Jalandoon and Ritchie Poblete pooled 3458 for second while Jun Cheng, Frederick Chuongco, Bibs Luzande and Bensir Layoso of Nation Paints finished third with a 3421 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, the ABC board is inviting all bowling clubs and associations to join the nine-day ABC-Boysen Cup which will last up to March 4 as ABC gears up for its 35th founding anniversary bash with a trip to Beijing, China in May.

The tournament, backed by Boysen Perlecente/Knoxout/Suede, Philflex Wires and Cables, Crown Pipes, Fredcor Sashwork, Coach Concepts, Brain Audio Visual, Multi-Folds, DDT Kontstruct, Guangco Marbles, La Vide Verde, JS Alvarez Const., Kum Kang Ceramics, Brio Windows, Aquarius Builders, Villarey Trading, Web Forge Industries, Aidea Architects and Duraflex Wires and Cables, resumes at 10 a.m. daily up to March 4, also at E Lanes.
