Speedo links up with swim body

MANILA, Philippines - Speedo Phl and the Philippine Swimming Inc. have signed a year-long partnership for the national sports association’s grassroots swimming program through a series of competitions in both the short and long course formats.

Dubbed as the third Speedo G-League Swim series, the event features amateur and veteran swimmers from all over the country with the top performers gaining berths in the team vying in various international competitions.

Stints in the Speedo G-League give each participant FINA (Federation Internationale de Natation), the world governing body for swimming, points, which are fundamental for any swimmer who aims to represent the country in global championships.

Along with the best swim brand’s support for the G-League swim series is Speedo’s commitment to be the official outfitter of the country’s swimmers in the upcoming Olympic Games in London.
