10 join second day of action in NCA tiff
MANILA, Philippines - Action in the World Championship Derby resumes today with 10 more entries joining the fray at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Ramon Marcenares’ Den, Tom Wilson’s Firefly 15, Toto Sevilla and Jonjon Tolentino’s CJJT Pleasant SF-2 and Osang dela Cruz’s Goldquest Champions head the first day winners in the event organized by the National Cockers Alliance with two points.
Joining them are Engr. Canlas’ Bacolor Gold, Gov. Vic Yap’s Tarlac, Cito N Romy’s My My, Tady Palma’s Tungkong Mangga, Arman Santos’ Jade Resort-2, Dori Du’s Araw ng Davao, Nene Araneta and Dong Lamoste’s Thunderbird Binangonan Jan 16 to 22, Rene Medina and Arnold Mendoza’s RM Renegade-1, and Patrick Antonio’s Sagupan National 9-cock Derby. Nelson Salvaneva’s Kristine Forever, and Butchoy Olano and Alberto Cruz’s IKA & Pasay 8-cock International Jan 27, 30, and Feb 3 led the 1 1/2 pointers.
Meanwhile, the NCA, in its continuing effort to help deserving Filipino students, supports four scholars at UP Los Baños with two taking up veterinary medicine and the two others agriculture, majoring in Animal Science with specialization in poultry production.
