PATTS rips EAC-Cavite, gains semis

MANILA, Philippines - PATTS School of Aeronautics smothered Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite, 75-57, to advance to the semifinal round of the 19th National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) men’s basketball tournament at the Olivarez College gym in Sucat, Parañaque yesterday.

Benhur Labtang and Juan Beltran took charge for the Sea Horses in the early going and went on to demolish their Cavite-based rivals to clinch the sixth and last semis seat.

Labtang paced PATTS with 28 points in the tournament supported by official ball Mikasa and Molten, and ANI AgriNurture Inc.

Dennis Limin scored 15 points while Beltran wound up with 13 markers for the Sea Horses, who posted a big 50-22 bulge in the second half.
