Cars staked in Guevara golf

MANILA, Philippines - Brand new cars from Cats Motors, Toyota Motors and Kia Motors will be up for grabs as hole-in-one prizes in the 12th Domingo Guevara Sr. Memorial golf tournament firing off today at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong. 

Around 300 players are vying for top honors in the 18-hole tournament, according to tournament director Benjamin Guevara with GIBCO and Alex Prieto offering P100,000 and P50,000, respectively, also for aces.

Other backers of the annual event are Guevent Investments Development Corp., Radiowealth Finance Corp. and Avis Philippines while San Miguel Corp. and Air Philippines lead the list of supporters that include Marie France/ Facial Care, UCPB, DBP, Security Bank, Robinsons Bank, Land Bank, Union Bank, Eastwood Property Holdings, Megaworld and Netsuit.
