Mayor Del golf Jan 13 at Valley

MANILA, Philippines - Marikina City will hold the second Mayor Del De Guzman Golf Classic tournament on Jan. 13 at the Valley Golf Club in Antipolo, a fund-raiser aimed at supporting the Children with Disability projects.

The event, a project of the Rotary Club of Marikina, the Philippine Constructors Association Marivalley, and the Marikina Golfer’s Association to likewise help in the community service activities of the Rotary Club, will also be held in line with 49th birthday celebration of De Guzman, who is also the current president of the Rotary Club of Marikina.

“I’m happy that the private sector is actively taking part in the government’s mission of helping its people. With this, we are confident to deliver more to the welfare of our citizens,” said De Guzman.

Competitions will be individual and team categories with fee pegged at P2,500 for non-members and P1,500 for club members (individual) and P2,000 in team play.

The tournament is presented by Sta. Clara International Corp. in cooperation with the Philippine Veterans Bank.
