Garcia's son, 38

MANILA, Philippines - Juan Javier Garcia, son of Philippine Sports Commission chair Richie Garcia, died of heart attack Tuesday night in Bacolod City.

Text messages sent to the media said the young Garcia, 38, was rushed to a hospital after collapsing while riding his motorcycle.

 Garcia is survived by the PSC chair, mother Ma. Regina (nee Jalandoni), brothers Julian Edgardo and Jose Ricardo Jr., sister Ma. Cristina Consuelo, wife Jenny (nee Llamas), children Pablo, Gus and Santana, who request the pious readers to pray for the eternal repose of his soul.

His remains were scheduled to be flown in to the Sanctuario de San Antonio Church in Forbes Park, Makati City.

Interment will be announced later.
