Lacey pulls off 3-peat in Lanao motocross
MANILA, Philippines - Top seed American rider Tiger Lacey dominated the international category to complete a three-peat in the Enersel Forte Philippine National Motocross Challenge in Tubod, Lanao del Norte recently.
Lacey stamped his class over the other top riders from the American Motocross Association and the leading Filipino racers to capture the centerpiece event at what has been considered the best motocross dirt track in the country for the third straight time.
Rhowell Mangosong of KTM Racing Davao finished third overall behind Dennis Stapleton while Nathan Tieney came in fourth followed by local motocross star Glenn Aguilar, who bucked a poor start in the final heat of the International Pro-Open category.
“We are again happy that our motocross event continues to get bigger and bigger. We have more riders from all over the land competing in the different categories. We are also glad to see our American racers compete against our top Filipino riders,” said Gov. Khalid Dimaporo.
