MANILA, Philippines - Taiwanese Chang Jung-lin downed Roberto Gomez, 9-7, to win the Philippine Big Time Billiards Face Off Series at Pagcor Airport Casino in Parañaque City over the weekend.

Chang battled back from 0-2, 3-1 deficits to draw level at 4 and 6 before pouncing on Gomez’s crucial miss on the 13th rack to seize control in the race-to-9, 10-ball, winner’s break format.

Gomez actually bounced back to force a tie at 7 but Chang took the last two racks to seal the victory and pocket the top $5,000 purse.

The next PBB Face Off Series leg pits Chang against Carlo Biado on Dec. 23 and Wu Chia Ching of China against Efren “Bata” Reyes on Dec. 30.
