Padit, Figuracion top ABC annual bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled a 12-game series of 2533 pinfalls to top Group I while Francis Figuracion of Crown PVC Pipes bagged the Group 2 crown with 1823 in the Architects Bowling Club’s annual championship at E Lanes Bowling Center in Greenhills, Ortigas last week.

Eugene Panaguiton of Unitec Pipes scored 2523, Dante Manglicmot of Crown Pipes Supreme made 2383, Ronnie Javier of Moldex Pipes had 2377 and Violy Magsakay of Firefly-Royu came up with 2374 to finish second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Group I in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Jimmy Ocampo of Duraflex THHN Wires submitted 1716, Frederick Chuongco of Nation Paints rolled 1693, Malou del Rosario of Boysen Paints had 1682 and Kathlyn Ong of HCG Phlhad 1653 to place second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Group 2.

ABC president Noel del Rosario is inviting all sponsors and members to attend the group’s Christmas Party today at 5 p.m. at the Wilcon Builders Depot’s fourth floor Function Room in Libis, Quezon City.

Action in the tournament, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes, August Alliance, Morning Sun, Famcor, ProActive Pest Control, Concrete Ventures, Miraga, Eurodach, Boysen Perlecente/Knoxout, Duraflex TW/THN Wires, ABC Phl, DN Steel, Homeworks, Emerald Pipes and La Vida Verde, will resume on Jan. 3, 2012.
