NGAP holds golden bash tourney Dec. 15

MANILA, Philippines - The National Golf Association of the Philippines marks its 50th founding anniversary with a fellowship tournament on Dec. 15 with a big field composed of current and former NGAP officials, member clubs and sponsors seeing action at Riviera’s Couples course in Silang, Cavite. Tee off time is from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

The 18-hole tournament is one of the highlights of NGAP’s golden celebrations with the country’s golf governing body also set to honor the past presidents, and  Filipino golf greats who have brought honors to our country to be awarded posthumously after the tournament.

Format will be three-man team competition with all players to count using Gross Modified Stableford Points scoring system. Awards will also be given to individual players with the highest points scored in the regular players, seniors, super seniors and the ladies categories.

The current NGAP board is composed of chairman Rod Feliciano, president Larry Mendoza, VP Danny Pizarro, sec-gen Jun Arceo, Atty. Rico Agcaoili, Alice Andrada, Caloy Coscolluela, Jun Galindez, Tommy Manotoc, Pablo Soon and Bong Vilchez.
