NCA new circuit starts Dec. 13
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance kicks off its new circuit on Dec. 13 with a mega derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The event is hosted by Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz and Mayor Elan Nagaño.
The derby promises to be a showdown of the country’s seasoned sportsmen, including boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and NCA members Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, Mayor Elan Nagaño, Rene Medina, Bebot Uy, Jun Topacio, James Uy, Eugene Martin, Luding Boongaling, Manny and Armand Santos, Patrick Antonio, Gerry Ramos, the Firefly Group, Gov. Ito Ynares, Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza, Charlie Ang, Joel and Danny Teves.
Other competitors are first NCA Cocker of the Year Mario Villamor, Ramon Mancenares, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas and Jimafer, Junjun Salazar, T. Sevilla, JR Tolentino, Eric dela Rosa, Butchoy Olano, Gov. JJ Suarez, Eddie Gonzales, Ricky Valencia, Boy Torres, George Torres, Claude Bautista, and Boyet Joson.
Among the invited guests are Bong Pineda and Carmelo Lazatin.
The derby will be followed by the NCA World Championship Derby on Jan. 10, 12, and 14, 2012.
