Segui, Ong reign in ABC quarterly

MANILA, Philippines - Buddy Segui of Emerald Pipes waxed hot with an eight-game series of 1630 to capture the Group I crown while Albert Ong of Boysen Perlecente took the Group 2 plum with a 1412 in the Architects Bowling Club’s quarterly championship at E Lanes Bowling Center in Greenhills, Ortigas last week.

Nepthy del Rosario of DN Steel scored a 1617, Bibs Luzande of Miraga Trading had a 1607 and Dante Manglicmot of Crown Pipes Supreme made a 1600 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Michael Domingo of Duraflex THW Wires carded a 1408, Bert Magsakay of Homeworks made a 1406 and Ricky Martinez of Famcor came up with a 1398 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, ABC president Noel del Rosario is inviting all ABC members and sponsors to the group’s Christmas Party on Dec. 13 starting at 6 p.m. at Wilcon Depot, Libis, Quezon City.

The tournament, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., August Alliance, Morning Sun, ProActive Pest Control, Concrete Ventures, HCG Phl, Crown PVC Pipes, Eurodach, Boysen Knocout/Suede, Nation Titans, Firefly-Royu, Philflex Wires and Cables, Unitec Pipes, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, ABC Phl, Moldex Pipes, Atlanta Pipes and La Vida Verde, resumes at 4 p.m. today for the annual championship, also at E Lanes.
