Mountain bikefest resumes in Nuvali

MANILA, Philippines - Mountain bike racing takes center stage next week as Nuvali stages the third Dirt Weekend on Nov. 26-27 in Nuvali, Laguna.

Organizers of the annual event guarantees a bigger, better staging with over 500 tipped to vie for top honors in various divisions.

Listup is ongoing with deadline set Nov. 20. Fee is pegged at P700. For details, contact 0905-3779713.

Events on tap are the mixed and solo in the 24-hour race, the team championship in MTB Orienteering, the Open/Elite, intermediate, masters (40-up), beginners and kids (14 below) in the Four Cross category.

Titles to be disputed in the Cross Country division are elite, youth (15-19), sport (20-29), executive (30-39), masters (40-up), women’s, kids A (10-13) and kids B (9 below).

The event is held in line with Nuvali’s vision of sustainability which hopes to encourage the public to embrace nature and for a healthier and more sustainable way of living through biking.
