Mangio overall champ in architects golf classic
MANILA, Philippines - Simon Mangio stamped his class in the 20th Architects’ Golf Classic Invitational golf tournament, scoring 46 Stableford points to win the overall crown at Sta. Elena Golf Club recently.
Paul Henry de Dios carded a 75 to cop the gross title in the Peoria-sponsored event sponsored by Boysen Paints that drew close to 250 participants.
Ike Madamba carded 41 points to bag the Class A plum over Paul Peña (40 points) and Manny de Guzman (40 points).
Romeo David topped Class B with 45 points while Julian Confesor ruled Class C with 42 points. Joven Guevarra won Class D with 43 points while Sonia Ongkiko fired 31 points to dominate the ladies’ side. Michael Lu won the sponsors’ division with a net score of 70.
